Colin Flaherty trained in Shakespearean acting at Oxford University, where after graduating at the age of 13, he played the lead in Hamlet at the Old Globe in Stratford Upon Avon for 6 years, twice a night, to sold out performances and rave reviews.
“An actor for the ages,” said the Times of London.
Returning to Oxford as a tenured professor, he taught an entire generation of Shakespearean actors, using techniques he channelled from Sir Laurence Olivier, Sir John Burbridge, Christopher Marlowe and others.
His greatest contribution to the field is an acting technique that, to the untrained eye, makes it seem the practicioner is a guy who wandered in off the street without any dramatic training or experience.
For this he received a Knighthood, along with an open invitation to party with the Queen’s chambermaids whenever he chooses.
He is sure you will get great benefit from this heretofore secret method.
